just one question... i accidentally broke my HL 1 disc... so now when ESF 1.3 comes out i wont be able to play
im curious Can i run ESF with HL 2? is it the same? or do i need HL 1... because in my country there isnt any HL 1 discs that r being sold... well they have those non steam and stuff like that... but i dont think they have originals any more... no one is buying them
so can i play esf 1.3 with HL 2? if not im scre*ed :(

You need the half-life 1 version if you want to play the new ESF version 1.3.
ESF wont support HL2.

As far I know you going to need steam as well if you want to play it.
So if you have steam you can buy a copy over steam.
Then you wont have to worry about discs anymore.

If you have the CD case you dont need the CD.

Just register the CD-key with STEAM.
