i couldn't find a full readme on how to setup the ECX thing or the bigpack...

First off.. What version of ESF do you need 1.1 1.2 or the newest 1.3

Second.. I saw somewhere you need AMX is that true and can i get a download for that?

Third.. Do i install Bigpack and ECX?

First: You don't need neither of those two. You need ESF 1.2.3 which is current version.
Second: No, you don't NEED amxx but can have it.
Third: After you install ECX you MAY install Big Pack if you please.

Correction. AMXX comes with ECX. If you install it yourself then youll probably end up disabling ECX itself.

correction i updated my currant version of amxx with the new one and my ecx still works 100%

Well that readme actually kinda sucks.. It tells you to INSTALL this but not HOW to install it.
Like AMX how do you install that on your server..
I know amx doesn't just install by just copy paste.. You have to do something with metamod..

to install ecx download and press run then you click agree then you click next then you click install you must have steam to be able to play on any servers also ecx comes with amxmodx

but if you wanna update your curant version you have to go to http://amxmodx.org
go to downloads section under core packages click AMX Mod X Full Installer 1.80 go the the nuclerfront mirror its better than that silly little thing called SourceForge
click run when it asks you to down load that will install amxmodx on to your hdd another option will come up saying wealcome to the amxmodx 1.80 installer setup click next
click i accept click select mod derectory aka where your esf folder is and
you will get a popup saying amxmodx was already detected click yes to continue or click no to upgrade always select no and that will update your amx files in your esf folder thats all for amxmodx installtion tut

Installing the new version just for ECX is a waste of time since a working version allready comes with ECX itself.

As for the new version. Seems they added the thing about upgrading the existant one. The old version installers usually just made a new instalation and erased all added pluggin enteries.

Do you really think a person who doesnt know waht AMXX is will use any pluggins aside from ECX?
no not realy but its just there just incase theres some one havving problems with the kick and ban function of the plugins like i did untill i updated it

ECX comes with AMXX. Im mnore willing to bet you messed the ECX instalatrion up rather than an AMXX problem.
