Overcontrasted in both versions, boarder isn't that good, I think render it's a bit blurred too and text need a better placement. Anyway...I like first sig more...and it looks pretty good ^_^. G/j

i would say try using a different colour, don't lower the opacity, don't use stroke. also move it nearer to the render, about near his arm.

Really I havnt seen any good text on any of em lately.... they are all plain and boring. No life to em.

simple > complex... if you add loads of effects to the text, whats the point of putting a render and making a bg then? text will simply take away all the view of the sig... the reason why you think like that is cause your still a beginner at gfx

Why not make everything stand out? I Mean i do it in my art classes all the time. Plus Simple text just makes it look ugly to me. If it shows to much like White text on Black Paper then it will stand out. I say that It should blend in or stand out with whats being presented.

well, your text right now is more of a 2nd focal, you want your sig to focus more on the render and the bg rather than the text alone....
